Recycling Paint and Metal

Metal Recycling:

We are able to accept appliances (non-working is still ok), bicycles, ironing boards, air conditioners, ladders, tire rims (rims only, NO tires), gutters, siding, file cabinets…. nearly all things metal!  We ask that you bring your recycling to the ReStore Tuesday through Friday 9:00 am to 4:30pm as pick up is not available. We will be happy to help you unload.

PaintCare:

The ReStore in St. Helens is a registered PaintCare site. PaintCare is a non-profit organization that manages leftover paint for reuse, recycling, or safe disposal. PainCare is funded through fees on each container of architectural paint and these products are accepted for free at “drop off” sites such as the ReStore. Even better, PaintCare reimburses our ReStore for each gallon of paint sold with these fees!

Through the PaintCare program, the Restore accepts house paint, primers, stains and sealers but we cannot accept aerosols (spray cans) or solvents. They must be in containers that are no larger than 5 gallons in size and must be in its original container with a secured lid.  Dried paint can be accepted as trash through Hudson or you are welcome to drop it off at our ReStore for recycling Tuesday through Friday 9:00 am to 4:30pm.
