Jennifer Anderson
Executive Director and Founding President
Responsible for managing all aspects of our affiliate, including resource development and operating with excellence according to Habitat for Humanity quality assurance guidelines.

Angela Carlson
Family Services
Manages routine office functions and serves as the point person for homeowner services in the organization. She also serves as the loan originator for mortgage lending and manages the Oregon IDA matched savings program.

Michael Langlais
Bookkeeper
Manages financial books and budget variances for Columbia County Habitat as well as regularly producing and analyzing reports for the board.

Alex Smurthwaite
Volunteer Coordinator
Manages volunteer recruitment efforts, tracks volunteer hours, provides volunteer orientations and coordinates events for the organization.

ReStore Manager
Directs the daily operations of the St. Helens ReStore. Helps train and supervize ReStore volunteers.

Nick Liewer
Board President
Nick spent eleven years operating in the engine room of nuclear-powered submarines. This experience continued as a Health Physics Technician and Professional Instructor in commercial nuclear power plants until his retirement.

Jack Graff
Vice President
Retired commercial banker and appraiser, Jack Graff has also served in multiple community service organizations as well as the Family Selection Committee for Columbia County Habitat for Humanity.

Peggy Helgerson
Secretary
A retired RN and former advocate for a partner family, Peggy Helgerson is an active Habitat for Humanity volunteer and serves as Family Support.

Mark Kreutzer
Treasurer
A retired firefighter and avid volunteer, Mark previously has served as a Board member for Rainier Rural Fire District, Columbia River Fire and Rescue, Oregon Fire District Directors Association and the National Association of Elected Fire Officials.

Mike Stone
Construction Manager
Owner of Stone Builders, Mike Stone serves as our Vice President and volunteers his time to serve as our Construction manager. He oversees all new home construction projects, budgeting, scheduling subcontractors and supervising construction activities. He is also the affiliate MRI.

Kannikar Petersen
An architect and owner of AKAAN Architecture + Design, Kannikar comes to Habitat by way of Bangkok, Thailand with more than 20 years practicing architecture in the US and abroad. Kannikar is involved in several local and regional community development non-profits.

Erik Granum
Erik currently works as Associate Project Manager for Urban Development + Partners in Portland and previously served as a helicopter pilot in the US Navy. He holds masters degrees in business administration (UNC) and real estate development (UC Berkeley) and a bachelor’s degree in English (UVA).

Mary Anne Anderson
Mary Anne is a lawyer with decades of experience. She was recently elected to the Columbia County Habitat for Humanity Board.

Sharon Kelly
Sharon Kelly is a regular volunteer with Columbia County Habitat for Humanity. She has over 45 years of experience working in the private and public sectors and has worked for several government agencies doing environmental analysis and transportation planning.

Boyd Ruby
Former President
An official guardian angel, Boyd has stepped in to help Columbia County Habitat at critical moments since 1999. You can find him frequently buying volunteer treats and keeping the ReStore in tip-top shape!

Debbie Ritthaler
Family Selection Committee
In addition to volunteering with the ReStore and representing Habitat in the community, Debbie also serves on the Family Selection Committee.

Dick King
Construction Lead
Retired carpenter and lifelong Habitat volunteer, Dick is a terrific asset to our organization leading construction crews, designing ramps and lending his expertise to all phases of construction.
